About Mike
Mike Daws is a passionate arborist with a genuine love for trees. He has a background in tree climbing, previously running a business specialising in tree maintenance, difficult access pruning and habitat creation. A progression to consulting was a natural step, building on the strong familiarity with the physiology and behaviour of trees earned through a career of pruning.
Mike has a strong eye for assessing tree condition and identifying structural defects. He is an expert in Tree Risk Assessment and holds advanced qualifications under the QTRA framework.
A background climbing and working in damaged trees has built a strong knowledge base around their behaviour and biomechanics. Mike is uniquely positioned to undertake Level 5 aerial assessments as a climbing consulting arborist.
